UKSA, is offering four young people the chance of a lifetime to gain a place on the Trinity House Yachting Cadetship. Starting this autumn, successful applicants will not only have their full course fees paid, but will also receive a maintenance grant to help fund them through their studies over the three years of the programme.
The Trinity House Yachting Cadetship is a three year programme which includes a Foundation Degree in Operational Yacht Science and is designed for anyone with a passion for working on board superyachts. Developed with the MCA and their approved training guidelines, the Cadetship provides students training coupled with valuable paid work placements working on superyachts all over the world.
In order to be successful, candidates must be aged between 18 and 25 and possess GCSEs (or equivalent) in English, Maths and Science, passed with grades A-C, as well as A or AS level qualifications equivalent to minimum of 120 UCAS points - or equivalent worked based learning for those over 21.
