Keeping Up With The Cadets

Our very own cadet Chris Averis has teamed up with The Crew Report to bring us a regular blog about life as a Cadet.

Chris recently started his cadetship in October and the first instalment of his blog has just gone onto The Crew Report website:

The Crew Report | Have Your Say | Keeping Up With The Cadets Part 1: Intensive introductions

The UKSA Cadetship has also been featured in the latest edition of The Crew Report magazine (Dec 10/Jan 11). There’s an online version of the article if you don’t have the magazine to hand. It's an interesting article that includes opinions from different industry professionals.

Many thanks to Chris for sharing his experiences with us; we look forward to reading about how you get on with your training in the future!

Boats for Sale at UKSA

With Christmas around the corner, have you got friends or family hinting that they would like to start sailing next year but don’t have a boat?

If yes, then look no further!

At UKSA, we have several Dart 16’s and Laser Pico’s for sale; ideal gifts for those wanting to try sailing but without breaking the bank.

Both types of boat are in a well-maintained condition and have a full set of sails and launch trolley included in the price.

For more information, pictures or to view the boats, please email Will Satterly at will.satterly@uksa.org or call 01983 203022.

Why not make someone’s Christmas and donate to charity at the same time?
